Insurance:

I am paneled on the NYU student insurance, Wellfleet.   Otherwise, I am an out-of-network provider for other insurances.  Most insurance companies will cover a portion of psychotherapy services.   I am happy to assist you with the claim submission process.  

Here are some questions to ask when talking to your insurance company about your benefits:

• Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?

• Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?

• Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?

• Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Cancellation Policy:

If you are unable to attend a session, I ask that you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.
